A Fuzzy TOPSIS-Based Approach for Comprehensive Evaluation of Bio-Medical Waste Management: Advancing Sustainability and Decision-Making

Bio-medical waste management is critical for ensuring public health and environmental sustainability. However, due to the inherent ambiguities complexities involved with characteristics disposal techniques, measuring efficiency of bio-medical systems presents major hurdles. This study provides a Fuzzy TOPSIS-based (Technique Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution) strategy thorough assessment. The suggested method combines benefits fuzzy logic TOPSIS, allowing incorporation subjective judgments ambiguity in evaluation procedure. Initially, set criteria constructed based on review current literature recommendations from experts, comprising Environmental Impact, Compliance Regulations, Health Safety, Technological Feasibility, Cost-effectiveness. To accurately represent imprecision decision-making, each criterion evaluated using linguistic variables.
